How to give PhD candidates access to Hora Finita again when their WUR-account is terminated

In order to access Hora Finita as a PhD candidate, an active WUR-account is required. If  a WUR-account is terminated the PhD candidate cannot access the PhD project in Hora Finita anymore. A request to regain access can be made to the Graduate School.

Extending a WUR-account comes with added costs. Please make sure to always inform involved parties about this before making any changes!

How to give PhD candidate access to Hora Finita again

In order for a PhD candidate to regain access, two changes should be made in their Hora Finita project:

1. The end-date of the WUR-account should be extended.

2. The end-date of the PhD project should be extended.

To change this information, navigate to the PhD students projects (1) general page (2):

Scroll down to the heading 'Data concerning PhD project'. Here, change the planned PhD programme end (1) and WUR-account end (2) to an established new date in the future.

Once you correctly filled out these date, scroll down to the bottom of the page to save the changes made.

Once these changes are made, the PhD student should be able to access Hora Finita once again.

PhD students are required to use WUR-credentials to access Hora Finita, there is no other way for them to gain access!
