How to approve / reject the Assessment Committee

After the supervisor of a PhD candidate proposed members for the Assessment Committee, the PhD office will receive the following email:

You can click on the link in the email to review the Assessment Committee.

1. Enter the deadline as number of weeks from the date of the assessment committee's appointment

2. You will then be taken to the page where you can approve or reject the assessment.

3. You can submit your approval/rejection by clicking the 'Submit' button.

In case the PhD Office disapproves the proposal, the supervisor has to submit a new proposal. If the PhD Office approves the proposal, the proposed committee members will be notified of the approval.

Subsequently, the first supervisor and involved offices will be notified that the Assessment Committee has been approved.

The PhD candidate receives an email notifying them about the approval, and will be asked to hand in their propositions for assessment. After this, the committee will assess the propositions and submit their assessments.
