Virtual Classroom | How to add a Virtual Classroom to the Content area

A Virtual Classroom is an integrated tool in Brightspace provided by Bongo that allows lecturers and students to engage with each other through live stream video. Once a Virtual Classroom has been created it can be linked to a specific area in the Content. For example, adding the Virtual Classroom to a specific week of the course.

When creating a meeting in Virtual Classroom please make sure to select the option Invite Entire Class 

Adding the Virtual Classroom to the Content area

Navigate to your course, in the green navigation bar,

1. Click on Content

2. Select the (sub)module where the meeting link needs to be added

3. Click on Existing Activities,  a drop-down menu will appear, scroll down

4. Click on Virtual Classroom

Content - table of contents - select a (sub)module, dropdown menu from existing activities

In the pop-up window Add Activity,

5. Click on the title (in blue) of the meeting that needs to be added

The pop-up window will close, and the meeting will appear in the Content module

Pop-up closes and the meeting is added to the Content module
