Due to circumstances, a planned ceremony date may require rescheduling. In order to reschedule, you first have to cancel the booked ceremony date. Then you can book a new slot.

The following roles are authorized to cancel a booking for a ceremony date:

• (Co)Supervisors
• Secretary of the supervisor
• Chair group secretary

1.  Go to Ceremony > PhD ceremony calendar

2. Go to the booked date > click on the confirmed slot of the PhD candidate

4. Here you can check if you have selected the slot of the right PhD candidate

5. Click on Delete from reservation service

The status of the slot changes into synchronizing. After a few seconds the slot is available again.

The following involved parties will receive an email about the cancellation:

• PhD candidate
• (Co)Supervisors
• Chair group secretary
• Graduate school
• Members of the Assessment Committee
• Team Graduation of the Doctoral Service Centre
