How to make the PhD project description available for Research@WUR?

General

The role 'Leerstoelgroepmedewerker' is authorized to enter/change the PhD project title and description in Hora Finita. The purpose of completing the project description is to provide information about research projects of a chair group and more specific an individual PhD candidate. A project description summarizes the content of a research project. Since this will become publicly available it should be written in a way that is understandable for the audience you aim at.

Once entered into Hora Finita, the project description will become publicly available at Research@WUR the next day.

Enter project title and description

Log in to Hora Finita and verify that you are logged in with the correct role.

Open the page PhD projects and select the required project. At the bottom of the General page, you will find the section with the project title and description. If applicable change the title and add/change a project description.

Then click 'Save and go back' or 'Save and stay on page'.

PhD checklist and Research@WUR

To verify the change, you can go to the PhD checklist to confirm that it has been saved successfully and that there is a green check mark.

The project title and description are now shared with and publicly available at https://research.wur.nl/en/projects/.

Why can't I find the PhD project?

In the event that a change to a project description in a Graduated trajectory is required, the role 'Leerstoelgroepmedewerker' has the option of correcting this in Hora Finita. To find the Graduated trajectories in the overview of PhD projects, an automatic filter must be removed. Click on the 'X' next to Active. This will also enable the Graduated and Terminated trajectories to be displayed.
