You can make a screen recording if you want to record your screen while showing a specific application. In a screen recording, the screen including your actions on the screen are recorded. It is also possible to record audio simultaneously.
If you want to record an voice over you can record your voice over an existing video.
In our podcast recording studio, you'll find a powerful desktop computer with Windows 10 and the screenrecording software Camtasia. There is a professional microphone setup complete with a Podcast mixer that you can use. Moreover, there is a good quality webcam available should you want to address the camera during your recordings.
Lecturers can reserve this workspace free of charge, if the recording is for WUR education.
We nicknamed this studio the HummingBird Studio, so feel free to do some humming while you are there. Thanks to the soundproofing, people outside won't hear you while you are warming up your vocal cords.

Below, you find a manual which tells you how recording a video with Camtasia works. You will also find the manual in the studio.
