How do I know for which study programmes my course is compulsory or a restricted optional?
You can find for which study programme(s) or specialisation(s) your course is compulsory or a restricted optional, in the EMC-tool. That is described below.
Navigate to the EMC-tool
1. Open your internet browser (pref. Firefox, Chrome or Edge; no Internet Explorer) and go to www.emc.wur.nl
2. Make sure you are looking at the correct academic year for your course
3. Click the course you want to find the information on, or search it in the search bar
4. Click the Studies tab.
NB.: You only see that option if you are the course coordinator of the course.
5. In this table, you can see what the role of your course is in each of the study programmes. Under Module Groups, you will see whether the course is CC - Compulsory Course or RO - Restricted Optional.
