How to use AirServer

AirServer is a screen mirroring software that allows users to share their device screens wirelessly with larger displays. With AirServer, you can:

  • Mirror your device’s screen in real-time.
  • Share multimedia content, including videos and presentations.
  • Collaborate with others by sharing your screen during group activities.
  • Connect up to eight devices to the same display for enhanced interaction.

AirServer is available in B9216 and B9218 in Aurora.

As detailed in this guide, AirServer will be available in rooms B9216 and B9218 for mirroring your device's screen. Following the end of period 6 this summer (2023-2024), the following rooms will no longer have WeConnect functionality: B0521, B0525, B9210, B9211, B9216 and B9218. The screens on the sides of the rooms will not be affected and will remain in place. There will at least be HDMI cables in each of these rooms, which can be used by students or teachers to duplicate or extend (only) one laptop display per sidescreen.

AirServer is currently not compatible with MacOS. We are working to resolve this issue and will provide updates as soon as possible. In the meantime, we recommend using an alternative device or operating system for screen mirroring.
