Course Home | How to edit the Course Image

In this article, you will learn how to change the course image to adjust it to the idea of your course.

Navigate to Course Home and hover your cursor over the course image. On the top right of the image, three small dots will appear.

1. Click on these three dots, where a downward menu will appear

2. Click Change Image

On the top right corner click on the 3 dots, a downward menu will appear, click on change image

This action will open the Change Image page. You can either go through the set of available pictures and select one or type a keyword of what you are looking for in the Search bar.

Optional: if you want to upload a more personalized course image,

3. Click on Upload.

Choose a picture from the available pictures or type a keyword of what you are looking for in the Search bar, if you want a more personalised picture click on Upload on the top right corner ofthe page

Adding a file

This action will open a pop-up window from which you can choose where to upload your file from:

Choose from which folder you wish to add a file from
1. My Computer

Select this option if you wish to add a file stored on your computer.

2. Course Offering Files

Select this option if you wish to add a file that you already have imported into Brightspace.

3. My Locker

Select this option if you wish to add a file from your Locker in Brightspace.

4. Group Locker

Select this option if you wish to add a file from your group's locker.

The required course banner dimensions in Brightspace are 1170x200 px. Make sure to check whether this is the case for your image to ensure that no picture parts are dropped and quality remains.

Once you've selected where you want to upload a file from, the Add a file page will appear in the same pop up window.

1. Click on Upload to scroll through your files and select the chosen picture
