Quizzes | How to edit a Quiz

When a Quiz needs to be edited to change content or other conditions, this can be done in two different ways.

This article shows how to:

Editing a quiz through Bulk Edit

Only the following properties can be edited through Bulk Edit:

  • The Name of the Quiz
  • The Quiz Category
  • The status of the Quiz to active/inactive
  • The number of attempts allowed per quiz

For all other properties, edit the quiz through the Quickmenu.

Navigate to your course, in the green navigation bar,

  1. Click on Assessment, a drop-down menu will appear
  2. Click on Quizzes
Click on Assessment, click on Quizzes

This will open the Quizzes homepage, in the Manage Quizzes tab,

  1. Tick the box next to the quiz that needs to be edited or tick the box next to the Current Quizzes for editing all the Quizzes
  2. Click on Bulk Edit
Tick the box next to the quiz that need to be edited and click on Bulk Edit

This will open the Bulk Edit Quizzes homepage,

  1. Click on the box to edit the Name of the Quiz
  2. Click on the downward arrow to edit the Category of the Quiz

OR

Click on add category to create a new category

  1. Tick the box to hide the Quiz from the users or uncheck the box to make it visible
  2. Click on the downward arrow to edit the number of Attempts Allowed for the Quiz
  3. Click on Save

Editing a quiz through the Quickmenu

Navigate to your course, in the green navigation bar,

  1. Click on Assessment, a drop-down menu will appear
  2. Click on Quizzes
Click on Assessment, click on Quizzes

This will open the Quizzes homepage, in the Manage Quizzes tab,

  1. Click on the downward arrow next to the Quiz name
  2. From the drop-down menu, click on Edit

This will redirect you to the Edit Quiz page.
