MS Teams | Brightspace and MS Teams integration options
There is an easy way to create and share a Teams meeting link from within MS Teams app and publish it in your Brightspace course. In this article you will find instructions about how you can do it:

Steps in MS Teams
- Go to "Calendar" and click on the time slot you want the meeting to take place
- Enter a meeting title
- Do NOT add attendees or location
- Toggle "Teams meeting" ON
- Click on "Options"
6. Here you can setup your meeting based on your preferences. For example: whether or not participants can use the microphone, who can present, who is the co-organizer, whether chat is available, whether a notification should be visible when participants join or leave (disruptive in large groups), etc. Review these options.
7. Click the Apply button
8. Click the Save button
9. Click on the created meeting event in the calendar
10. Click the arrow next to the join button and choose "Copy join link"
Steps in Brightspace
11. Go to the Brightspace course, in Content go to the module where you want to publish the meeting link
12. Click the Upload/Create button and choose "Create a link"
13. Enter the meeting title
14. Paste (ctrl-v) the join link from step 11 into the URL field
15. Click the Create button
16. Go back to the Content module, review the meeting link
17. Optional: click the arrow next to the meeting name, choose "Edit properties in place," and enter a description
