MS Teams | Brightspace and MS Teams integration options
There is an easy way to create and share a Teams meeting link from within MS Teams app and publish it in your Brightspace course. In this article you will find instructions about how you can do it:

Steps in MS Teams
- Go to "Calendar" and click on the time slot you want the meeting to take place
- Enter a meeting title
- Do NOT add attendees or location
- Click on "More options"
- Toggle "Teams meeting" ON
- Click on "Meeting options"
- Here you can setup your meeting based on your preferences. For example: whether or not participants can use the microphone, who can present, who is the co-organizer, whether chat is available, whether a notification should be visible when participants join or leave (disruptive in large groups), etc. Review these options.
- Click the Apply button
- Click the Save button
- Click on the created meeting event in the calendar
- Click the arrow next to the join button and choose "Copy join link"
Steps in Brightspace
- Go to the Brightspace course, in Content go to the module where you want to publish the meeting link
- Click the Upload/Create button and choose "Create a link"
- Enter the meeting title
- Paste (ctrl-v) the join link from step 11 into the URL field
- Click the Create button
- Go back to the Content module, review the meeting link
- Optional: click the arrow next to the meeting name, choose "Edit properties in place," and enter a description
