The Education Support Service Desk (ESSD) is a team from the Teaching and Learning Centre (TLC) focused on alleviating the administrative burden of teachers from WUR.

The ESSD runs the HelpDesk for the TLC at WUR. We are the go-to contact for any inquiries related to education. We are committed to providing accurate answers in a timely manner while ensuring that your questions are directed to the appropriate teams for comprehensive support.

Opening hours

Regular opening hours

Monday – Friday: 8:00 – 17:00

Reduced opening hours

The Education Support Service Desk has reduced opening hours during the holiday periods:

Summer holiday 2024

  • July 8th – 26th:               Reduced Hours: 10:00 – 16:00
  • July 29th – Aug. 16th:     Call center closed. Emails are handled within 48 hours
  • Aug. 19th – Aug. 23rd:    Reduced Hours: 10:00 – 16:00

Winter holiday 2024

  • Dec. 23rd – Jan. 1st:        Call center closed. Emails are handled within 48 hours
  • Jan. 2nd – Jan. 3rd:         Reduced Hours: 10:00 – 16:00

On all public holidays the Education Support Service Desk is closed (see here the Academic Calendar 2024-2025).

The EdTool Advisor will help you select the appropriate tool for different educational purposes and criteria. Additionally, it provides information on on how to use the suggested tools and where to find support in using them.
