Navigate to your course, in the green navigation bar,

1. Click on Communication, a drop-down menu will appear
2. Click on Discussions

This will open the Discussions Homepage, in the Discussions list tab,

3. Click on the downward arrow next to the discussion topic the Rubric needs to linked to, a drop-down menu will appear
4. Click on Edit Topic

This will open the Edit topic Homepage,

5. Click on the Assessment tab

In the Assessment tab,

6. Click on Add Rubric

The pop-up window Select Rubric will appear,

7. Select the Rubric that needs to be linked to the Discussion topic
8. Click on Add Selected

The pop-up window will close, the selected Rubric will appear

9. Click on Save and Close
